UK abuser gets bail lifted to go to Greek island holiday with victim

Craig Ward, a 34-year-old dad who beat his partner so hard that she feared for her life, had his bail conditions relaxed for two weeks so that the couple could go to Kos for a vacation. Despite the domestic violence following his drunken assault that lead to an order for him not to contact Helen Denham when the case came before Stockport Magistrates’ Court.

Chairman of the bench John Davis said that the exception to see his girlfriend was granted for the duration of that period while he was advised not to drink too much on holiday. The restraining order will be lifted until May 21 so the couple can go on the vacation that had been booked ten months ago. This is something that Denham who was beaten senseless and feared that she would never see her children again.
