Turkish Spor Toto Super League champions Galatasaray beat Bursaspor 3-2 to lift the 2014-15 Ziraat Turkish Cup at the Bursa Atatürk Stadium in Bursa on June 3.

The Crocodiles, who were bidding to win their first cup in 28 years, took the lead when Fernandao scored from the spot in the 25th minute following a foul by Galatasaray left-back Alex Telles.

Fifteen minutes later, however, Galatasaray equalized when their Turkish striker Burak Y?lmaz finished at the far post.

Burak scored another after the restart when he finished a one-on-one after being sent through by playmaker Selçuk ?nan.

But Bursaspor again found parity in the 58th minute when Volkan ?en slotted home following a classy back heel by Fernando Belluschi.

Burak, however, completed his hat-trick just a minute later to put the Lions ahead for good.
Galatasaray captain Selçuk lifted the trophy after the final whistle.

The win marked Galatasaray's first domestic double since their fable 1999-2000 season, when they also won the UEFA Cup over Arsenal in Copenhagen.

The Lions, which also captured the trophy last year, have won a record 16 Turkish Cups.

Despite the loss, Bursa normally would have entered the 2015-16 Europa League as Galatasaray has already qualified for the Champions League, but the Marmara club has banned from continental competition for four years due to "overdue payables." In its place, Trabzonspor will enter the Europa League second qualifying round.
