President Iohannis welcomes chair of Bulgaria's Parliament Tsacheva

President Klaus Iohannis on Monday welcomed Chairwoman of the Bulgarian Parliament Tsetska Tsacheva at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, with the two officials pointing out that the potential for further development of the bilateral relationship, particularly economic and regional development, has not been reached yet.

The Presidential Administration reports that Iohannis and Tsacheva voiced satisfaction over the excellent relations between the two neighbour countries at bilateral, regional and European levels. Also discussed at the meeting was cooperation at a European level, with emphasis on the two countries' accession to the Schengen Area, meeting the benchmarks under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism and supporting the European bid of Serbia and the other Western Balkan countries. AGERPRES
