Greek Parliament VP: SYRIZA has failed

The Vice President of the Greek Parliament and SYRIZA MP, Alexis Mitropoulos warned the party was mutating into a neo-liberal party and was being forced to implement a suffocating and anti-social platform. Speaking before the party’s meeting Friday, Mitropoulos did not hold back, as he unleashed harsh criticism against the government. “The government went to the negotiating table without any plans, without knowledge or preparation, without the finest negotiators”, he said. He continued by saying that their tactics had failed. “We are in danger of turning into a left parody and not a left political parenthesis”, he argued. He warned of the risks of a Grexit stressing that the government would be unable to handle such a development.
