Greek-American expatriate billionaire businessman and investor Dean Metropoulos is expected to acquire a 44-hectare property in Kassiopi on Corfu that formed the first privatization conducted as a result of the Greek debt crisis.
It is understood that a sale price of €32 million has been agreed and that bank financing for the project is pending.

Greek Parliament VP: SYRIZA has failed
The Vice President of the Greek Parliament and SYRIZA MP, Alexis Mitropoulos warned the party was mutating into a neo-liberal party and was being forced to implement a suffocating and anti-social platform. Speaking before the party’s meeting Friday, Mitropoulos did not hold back, as he unleashed harsh criticism against the government.

Parliament VP presses for deal or referendum

SYRIZA MP claims he was assaulted in January
SYRIZA deputy and Parliament Vice President Alexis Mitropoulos on Tuesday said that he was attacked by unknown assailants on January 10.
Speaking on Antenna TV, Mitropoulos said that was the day he had tabled a question regarding the so-called Nikoloudis list of about 300,000 Greeks who transferred 100 billion euros to overseas banks during the crisis.
