Hilarious misspelt tattoos! (pics)
Ink on skin is a serious deal. Tattoos are something that you carry with you for life. So you better make sure that favourite football player you hit on your forearm doesn’t sign to your arch enemies in the transfer season. Or even worse, you wouldn’t want to be embarrassed by those eternal words of Chinese wisdom being misspelt on your back and meaning something else! Customers have been left branded with misspelt words and bizarre phrases in foreign languages. Professional translation service, Veritas Language Solutions, has launched a ‘Think Before You Ink’ campaign to cut the terrible tattoo travesties. Stay on the safe side and take an Oxford dictionary with you the next time you enter a tattoo parlour. These are the hilarious results of not knowing your spelling!
This poor guy thought this word meant ‘Strength’ in Hebrew. Unfortunately it means a cracker-like unleavened bread
This woman used Google translate to hit ‘I love David’ on her back. Unfortunately, what she got was ‘Babylon is the world’s leading dictionary and translation software’ inked on her back
One unlucky lady wanted her favourite flower name scrawled across her lower back but was left with ‘Sweet Pee’ above her waistline
