Potami: Tsipras’ speech offered nothing but empty words
Prime Minister’s speech at the first cabinet meeting was just empty words, Potami party said in a statement noting that Alexis Tsipras offered nothing in terms of targets and reforms.
According to the statement “People say ‘actions speak louder than words’ and this was the thought of all those who had the patience and time to listen to Mr. Tsipras’ speech to his ministers. It was all empty promises for results without any specific target and promises for reforms … without reforms,”.
“Cheap promises and assurances for … dignity. Not a word for the unemployed, the young who will flee abroad, the self-employed which will pay a tax even with zero income and people who lose their jobs because of Tsipras’ ingenius idea for capital controls,” Potami noted.
Also, it was highlighted that it was amusing to hear the Prime Minister telling his ministers that their work will be judged within six months, when many of them are the same people who did nothing for seven months.
