K. Savvaidou expulsion from General Secretary of Public Revenues on the table

The expulsion of Greece’s general secretary of Public Revenues Katerina Savvaidou is on the table at Thursday’s meeting of the ministerial council, sources told private SKAI TV.

In her own statement, Savvaidou refused to resign despite breach of duty allegations against her in two cases. She said that the reports were groundless and there had been no issue of legality that warrant her resignation as called for by Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos upon the request of Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
