Condom sales boomed for Korean adultery, but dropped with China’s one-child policy

No sooner was the one-child policy dropped in China that stocks took a nose-dive for condom manufacturing companies in Japan dropping by 10%.

This was bad news for condom makers who had noted a boom to businesses earlier in the year when South Korea legalized adultery triggering a surge in the stock price of condoms. No sooner was the Korean decision announced that shares in Unidus Corporation making latex products, including condoms soared by 15%. Hyundai Pharmaceutical maker of the morning-after pill also celebrated a 9.7% rise.
