Taylor Swift sued for allegedly stealing the lyrics for her song ‘Shake It Off’
Taylor Swift is being accused of copyright infringement by songwriter Jessie Braham.
According to legal papers, Taylor stole the lyrics from Jesse Braham’s song Haters Gone Hate and used them for her song Shake It Off.
In Braham’s song, he sings: “Haters gone hate, players gone play. Watch out for them fakers, they’ll fake you everyday” which was released in 2013, a year before Taylor’s song Shake it Off becomes a success.
Braham claims now that Taylor ripped off his lyrics and he is asking for $42million for alleged copyright infringement.
