The crowning of the wrong Miss Universe 2015 may have been a blessing in disguise for the competition. Comedian Steve Harvey’s mistake has been a win-win for all those involved making the wrong crowning of Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez instead of Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, has become a talking point around the world.

Miss Colombia gets porn

Miss Colombia might have missed on the crown, but she has got a chance to fill her bank account as she is getting porn offers worth one million dollars. Vivid Entertainment boss Steve Hirsch is offering Gutierrez to increase her fame and fortune way past the defines of a Miss Universe pageant.

The letter gives Gutierrez a chance to follow a similar path to Vanessa Williams, who was crowned Miss America in 1984 only to be stripped of her title, when old nude photos of her were released. Hirsch has also promised in the letter that the porn flick would recreate the Miss Universe pageant and that they would fabricate a crown that will be grander than anything Miss Philippines will ever wear.

On her part, Gutierrez sufficed to express her gratitude of wearing the crown for a few minutes. “I was able to bring happiness to my country,” she wrote on Instagram. “Today because of that COLOMBIA and the LATIN COMMUNITY are being talked about in every corner of the world. I also want to congratulate the Philippines for their new Miss Universe,” she continued. “Life continues and in the future we will find out why things happen the way they happen. Thank you all for your LOVE SUPPORT and KINDNESS.”

The host is the biggest winner

Comedian Steve Harvey decided to poke fun at himself following his Miss Universe mix-up during which he announced that the winner of the beauty pageant was Miss Colombia before he corrected himself after the wrong beauty queen was crowned.

“Merry Easter y’all!!” said Harvey  in his Christmas Day post on his Facebook page. Social media loves his mistake that has gone viral.

Rather than cancel him out as host, he signed a multiyear deal with the pageant to ensure that the viewers tuned in to next year.
