Miss Bulgaria Radost Todorova has taken to social media to express her love for Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach and the Philippines, as well as surprise over her gesture becoming a widespread meme, gmanetwork.com has reported.

Social media caught ablaze after Miss Universe pageant host, US comedian Steve Harvey misread his cue card late Sunday and announced that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez was Miss Universe. No sooner was she crowned before the glittering crown was taken off her head and given to its rightful owner Miss Philippines.

Miss Colombia was wrongly named Miss Universe in a dramatic mix-up in front of a global television audience of millions on Dec. 20, before the rightful winner Miss Philippines was finally handed the glittering crown.
The pageant's host, US comedian Steve Harvey, misread his cue card and initially announced Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez, had triumphed.
