Valentine's Day celebration with Riccardo Maccaferi
Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul hosted a truly magical Valentine's Day dinner filled with surprises, including Italian performer and musician Riccardo Maccaferri from the world famous musical "Romeo and Juliet" taking the stage.
The candlelight Valentine's Day dinner served in the sensual atmosphere of AzzuR Restaurant on Feb. 13 featured a special "Lovers' Feast" prepared by Italian Executive Chef Giovanni Terracciano.
The evening with "Italian-style romance" began with a delicious menu offering: Baked mozzarella on tomato and spinach, beetroot lasagna stuffed with artichoke and prawns, beef medallions on chestnut polenta and for dessert hazelnut and chocolate balls with Mövenpick raspberry and strawberry sorbet.
Widely known for playing the Benvolio character from the "Romeo and Juliet" musical, Maccaferri sang popular Italian and English love songs accompanied by guitarist Nicholas Merzi.
