Memorable comeback for Greens, home reverse for Reds

Olympiakos slipped up at home to Turkey's Fenerbahce, but remains at the top of the Euroleague table for now, while Panathinaikos staged an impressive comeback to beat Zalgiris in Athens.

The Greens defeated their visitors from Kaunas 89-76 on Thursday, in a game that will take long to forget.

The Euroleague title holders not only managed to crawl their way back into the game from going 20 points down (49-29), but even went as far as 17 points ahead (89-72), thanks to an unprecedented partial 32-2 score. Zalgiris scored its last field goal about 12 minutes from the end (leading 70-57), and then it just made six free throws.
