Turkish designer signs mark on Whoopi Goldberg's Oscar dress
American cinema and TV actress Whoopi Goldberg wore a bracelet and ring combination and watch created by Turkish jewelry designer Sevan B?çakç? at the 88th Oscar ceremony on Feb. 28.
The octopus-shaped ring and bracelet by Istanbul-based designer B?çakç? marked the 25th anniversary of Goldberg's "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar.
B?çakç?'s creation combined with Goldberg's classic black dress.
The jewelry, given the name "Kraken," is part of a collection made from South Sea pearls and inspired by Jules Verne's cult book "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea."
B?çakç?'s current project is a unique watch collection, which he has been working on for the past six years.
