Piraeus Port concession to be signed on Friday

An agreement between the Chinese shipping and port group Cosco and Greek government will be signed on Friday noon regarding the concession of 51% of the Piraeus Port (OLP).

The agreement will be signed at Maximos Mansion in the presence of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Under the agreement, 16% will be transferred within 5 years after the completion of 300 million euros investment. The government will keep 23% of the share capital and 3 positions on the Board, until the 16% is transferred. After that, the State will keep 7% and one position on the Board.
