Heavy Rain, Expected in Bulgaria on Tuesday, Hail Possible

Bulgaria's weather service has issued a Code Yellow warning for most of the country, with torrential rains and low temperatures in 25 of its 28 regions.

Hailstorms are possible in some of the regions affected.

In the three Black Sea regions (Varna, Burgas, and Dobrich), a separate Code Yellow alert has been issued over strong winds.

Temperatures are not likely to rise again by the weekend, when they will gradually surpass the 20 degree mark. A warmer weather with maximum 18-20 degrees is expected from Friday, when another weekend begins with the May 06 holiday of Gergyovden (St George).
