Vucic to begin consultations on new gov't

BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) leader and Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic will on Tuesday begin consultations on the new government with meetings with Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and United Serbia officials.

With representatives of the electoral lists that made it to the parliament, Vucic will discuss Serbia's future development and progress and present the fundamental points of the new government's programme, the SNS announced in a statement.

The consultations with the SPS will be held in the parliament building at 2 pm, with Vucic also scheduled to meet with Serbian Radical Party (SRS) officials an hour later.

SRS leader Vojislav Seselj said that, pursuant to a decision of the party's presidency, he will be representing the SRS in the consultations.
