Sinisa Mali opens "Days of Moscow in Belgrade"

BELGRADE - Mayor of Belgrade Sinisa Mali opened the "Days of Moscow in Belgrade" at the Kolarac Foundation Monday evening in the presence of Russian Ambassador Alexander Chepurin and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

Mali noted that "Belgrade will, in the next four days, prove to be an excellent host to friends from Moscow, one of the most beautiful cities in the world".

He announced that a memorial plaque dedicated to Russian architect Nikolai Krasnov will be unveiled during the event in Avalska St, central Belgrade.

The Head of Moscow's Department for Foreign Economic and International Relations Sergei Cheremin thanked for the hospitality and said that he is glad the "Days of Moscow in Belgrade" are taking place for the first time.

Until October 7, Belgraders can expect many sports and cultural programs as part of the event.
