Serbia to face Ukraine in Kharkiv friendly

BELGRADE - The Serbia national football team will play Ukraine in Kharkiv in a friendly match scheduled for November 15, just three days after its away match against Wales in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers.

Following a request by the Football Association of Ukraine, UEFA has approved the FC Metalist stadium as the venue for the match, the Football Association of Serbia said on its website.

With seven points, Serbia are tied with the Republic of Ireland in the Group D top spot in the World Cup qualifications.
