International Federation of Musicians congress opens

BELGRADE - Serbian Musicians Union President Boris Postovnik opened the 11th European Congress of the International Federation of Musicians (FIM) at the press center of the Serbian Journalists Association in Belgrade on Friday.

The congress, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information, is organized by the Inart civil society association for initiatives in education, culture and art, and will last two days.

Fifty delegates from 27 countries will attend the congress, and there will be guests representing cultural institutions, associations of musicians, unions and the civil sector, including FIM President John Smith, Marina Bronkova on behalf of the Russian Union of Musicians and Smiljka Isakovic from the Serbian Musicians Association.
