Saxophonist Candy Dulfer to close next Nisville

BELGRADE - Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer will close the 2017 Nisville Jazz Festival with her performance, announced the organizers.

They said that "Nisville has proposed to the City Assembly of Nis to award Candy Dulfer the status of honorary citizen of Nis at one of its upcoming sessions because of her contribution to the promotion of Nisville and the City of Nis, in particular in her home country, the Netherlands".

According to Nisville Director Ivan Blagojevic, Dulfer has promoted in many of her media appearances the uniqueness of the Nisville Jazz Festival, which the influential British newspaper the Guardian has listed among the Top 10 European Jazz Festivals.

Talks about Dulfer bringing a special guest for this performance are already under way as well, added Blagojevic.
