Montenegro's NATO membership could now be on ice - report

The election of Donald Trump as the U.S. president could postpone the process of Montenegro's NATO accession, Washington-based website Roll Call is reporting.

According to the article, chairman of the U.S. Senate's Foreign Relations Committee Bob Corker could be responsible for the delay in the work on a resolution that is necessary to adopt a protocol which U.S. President Barack Obama has sent to the Senate to approve Montenegro's accession to the military alliance.
