CAS dismisses FSS appeal, Kosovo to remain UEFA member

LAUSANNE - The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has dismissed a Football Association of Serbia (FSS) appeal against the Football Federation of Kosovo's (FKK) UEFA membership.

FSS had "both standing to sue in this matter and reasonable cause to file its appeal" considering the relevant provision stating UEFA membership is "open to national football associations in the continent of Europe, based in a country recognised by the UN as an independent state," it said.
