Dacic, Scaparrotti discuss region, security challenges

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic on Wednesday received Gen Curtis Scaparrotti, Supreme Allied Commander Europe of NATO Allied Command Operations, to exchange views on the political situation in the region, security challenges and possibilities for deepening the cooperation between Serbia and NATO.

They took note of a high level and intensity of political dialogue and practical cooperation between NATO and Serbia through the Partnership for Peace programme, which contributes to better mutual understanding and enhanced relations, a statement said.
