Theodosius: Ivanovic fought for justice, freedom

BELGRADE - All his life, Oliver Ivanovic fought for justice and for the freedom of his people in Kosovo-Metohija and the freedom of the city he lived in, Bishop Theodosius of Raska and Prizren said in Belgrade Thursday during a funeral service for the slain Kosovo Serb politician.

Ivanovic spared no personal effort in June 1999, when Kosovska Mitrovica and other cities had to be defended, or when he spoke to officials of international organisations about the plight of Serbs and their holy sites after the war, Theodosius said.
