Vujovic: Serbia's trajectory positive, sustainable

BELGRADE - The trajectory Serbia is heading on is positive and sustainable in every way, as recognised by everyone, and it is one of the few countries in the world that have managed to reverse a trend of GDP decline in the midst of fiscal consolidation, Serbian Finance Minister Dusan Vujovic said on Tuesday.

"That is the so-called expansive consolidation as there is a constant notion that every consolidation has to be restrictive. It does if you do not know what you are doing or if you overdo the restrictive measures and do not know how to combine them with measures that support growth," Vujovic said at the first Business Lunch conference.
