The Municipality of Teteven Invests over BGN 10 Million in Three Projects

The Mayor of the Municipality of Teteven, Dr Madlena Boyadjieva, signed three contracts for providing a grant amounting to more than BGN 10 million with the State Fund "Agriculture". The approved projects are under Measure 7.2 "Investments in the creation, improvement or extension of all types of small scale infrastructure" from Measure 7 "Main services and rural renewal of rural areas" of the RDP 2014-2020. 

The first project "Rehabilitation of a section of municipal road LOV Republic 1116 quarter. Polaten - III-358 - Big Spring to the junction with the road - / I-3 /" Jablanica - Djurovo "Teteven" is worth BGN 6 954 144 and is related to the rehabilitation of the road section of Polatten / Teteven /, through the village of Golyam Izvor, with the intersection of the first-class Republican road I-3 to the town of Yablanitsa.

Its main objective is to promote social inclusion and economic development of the municipality by providing transport connectivity with neighboring municipalities Yablanitsa and Pravets. This will be the most direct transport connection to the municipal center with Road I-3 and therefore to "Hemus". Part of the activities realization will include laying of asphalt and concrete curbs, cleaning and construction of new culverts , construction of protective pipes, shafts, steel guard fence and others.

The second project is for "Rehabilitation of municipal street network: Ivan Vazov Street, Teteven; Vit Street - Polana district; "Zdravets" Str., town of Teteven; Dakovoto Str., Ribaritsa and Vasil Levski St., Galata. It is worth BGN 2 321 081 and aims to improve the transport infrastructure of the settlement.
