Kranj-based Eurotronik named ITM exporter of the year

Ljubljana – The Kranj-based telecommunications system developer Eurotronik has been declared the exporter of the year at the conclusion of the International Trade Management (ITM) programme, a course for managers organised by the SPIRIT trade promotion agency.

Announcing the seventh winner of the annual award, SPIRIT said on Monday that, in addition to its being export-oriented, Eurotronik was also characterised by innovative proactivity and constant development of new products.

The ITM programme, which has been implemented by the public agency since 2006 and involved more than 160 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), was digital this year.

SPIRIT acting director Tomaž Kostanjevec said the selection was based on quality and quantity indicators for this year, as well as trends in the last three years in financial performance, structure and market shares in international markets.

The agency said that Eurotronik’s financial, export and development indicators showed stability and growth. “The company’s capital and revenue are constantly growing, it has a high liquidity ratio, increases employment and expands its international presence.”

The company develops advanced information and communication solutions for hospitals, care homes and other healthcare institutions. Its advanced nurse call system NurseCare is a leader in the Slovenian market, SPIRIT said.

Its solutions are used not only in Slovenia but in many healthcare centres around the world; the company is present in more than 30 markets, including Australia, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
