Foreign trade gap narrows 31 percent in January-September
Türkiye's foreign trade deficit narrowed by 31.1 percent on a yearly basis to $60.43 billion this January-September, according to official new figures.
The country's exports totaled $191.75 billion in the nine-month period, up 2.6 percent, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said on Oct. 31.

Foreign trade deficit continues to shrink, shows ministry data
Türkiye's foreign trade deficit continued to decline in August, narrowing 43.4 percent year-on-year to $4.93 billion last month, according to the Trade Ministry on Sept. 2.
This marked the lowest level of foreign trade deficit in 34 months.
Trade deficit expands 10.5% in first half as exports decline, imports rise
Imports rose and exports shrank during the first half of the year, expanding the trade deficit by 10.5%, the Hellenic Statistics Authority announced Wednesday.
Exports up 14 pct, trade deficit falls 42 percent in July
Türkiye's exports increased by 13.8 percent in July from a year ago to $22.5 billion, hitting a historically high level for the month, while the foreign trade deficit shrank 42.3 percent to $7.24 billion.
Imports amounted to $29.75 billion, falling 7.9 percent from July 2023, data from the Trade Ministry showed on Aug. 2.

Serbia's January-May external trade at approx. 27.86 bln euros
BELGRADE - Serbia's external goods trade in January-May totalled approx. 27.86 bln euros, which is a 0.9 pct increase y-o-y, according to figures released by the national statistical office.
Goods exports were worth around 12.158 bln euros, rising by 0.6 pct y-o-y, while imports totalled around 15.7 bln euros, growing by 1.2 pct y-o-y.
