Vucic: We need no conflict with NATO but Serbia cannot allow new humiliations

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Monday Serbia needed no conflict with NATO as it would not be able to win it, but noted that the country was not in a situation where it could allow new attacks and humiliations.

"Our conclusion is that we will protect the position our people, understand the messages of the peaceful political uprising of Serbs in the north of Kosovo-Metohija and respect the Constitution of Serbia, but what we will insist on is real dialogue," Vucic said at a press conference.

Serbia will not accept dialogue based on "the take-it-or-leave-it principle," he added, noting that Serbia needed real dialogue with ethnic Albanians as well as with the international community.
