Serbia won! Vučić: "Incredible opportunity, fantastic news" VIDEO

Serbia won all four rounds of voting at the General Assembly of the International Bureau of Exhibitions (BIE) in which it had the largest number of votes, and in the last round the only opponent was Spain.
On this occasion, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, spoke.
"This is great, fantastic news for the citizens of Serbia. We won, we got 81 votes. Spain got 70. It's a huge success for Serbia. We beat Argentina and the USA and Thailand. It's a huge success for Serbia and I'm very, very happy. I saw how much energy, work, and knowledge people from our team invested," said Vui
He added that after 32 years, Serbia and Belgrade are getting the Expo.
"This means that as soon as tomorrow we start major works not far from the National Stadium in Surin. That part of Surin and New Belgrade, even the entire Lower Srem, will experience an incredible boom," he said, adding that the total economic effect of the Expo is around 1.1 billion euros .
"Literally everything will flourish. An incredible opportunity for the promotion of our country," he pointed out. He thanked Blinken for the congratulations he sent on the occasion of this win.
"This will be a huge contribution to the growth of Serbia, to the strengthening of economic activities. Serbia has won and will continue to win," he said. He thanked everyone who voted for Serbia.
"Some countries from the region voted unequivocally for Serbia, some of which we didn't even expect. I am extremely grateful. This will be a huge economic step forward. Only a year after that, we are opening the first metro line... Now we have to do much more to we would justify the trust we received from the world," concluded Vui.
