Kosovo-Metohija Serb arrested at Jarinje
BELGRADE - The Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija said on Friday Pristina's special police forces had arrested a Serb from Leposavic at the Jarinje administrative crossing for no reason and without any grounds.
In a statement, it said 34-year-old Boris Lesevic had used the crossing several times in the past few days, only to be held without an explanation on Friday and interrogated for a long period of time and then taken to the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.
The Office said it had immediately provided a lawyer to Lesevic.
"This is a new act of (Pristina PM Albin) Kurti's terror and intimidation of Serbs, timed to occur immediately after another round of the Brussels dialogue in which Pristina demonstrated its arrogance. That is the manner of behaviour Kurti resorts to every time, and innocent Serbs are his target," the Office said.
