IRCAI Ljubljana and Amazon to support AI-driven climate change solutions

The Ljubljana-based International Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have partnered to support entrepreneurs and startups using advanced cloud computing and AI to create new solutions addressing climate emergency.

IRCAI is the only centre under the auspices of UNESCO that focuses directly on artificial intelligence. It is based at the Jožef Stefan Institute and has been operational since October 2020.
