The Ljubljana-based International Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have partnered to support entrepreneurs and startups using advanced cloud computing and AI to create new solutions addressing climate emergency.

Ljubljana – Education Minister Simona Kustec and Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Margrethe Vestager discussed via video call on Monday Slovenia’s EU presidency agenda in digitalisation and artificial intelligence. The pair agreed that people must come first, and that AI and digitalisation must serve the society.

Montreal – Public Administration Minister Boštjan Koritnik took part on Friday in a virtual session of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, the first meeting of the alliance founded this summer. Koritnik said Slovenia was working on a national AI programme.
