APOEL knock Vojvodina out of UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers

NOVI SAD - Serbia's Vojvodina Novi Sad are out of the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers after losing 2-1 at home to Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia on Thursday evening.

APOEL won 4-2 on aggregate after winning the first leg 2-1 last week.

APOEL took the lead in Novi Sad through a Kinsley Sarfro goal in the 28th minute and Vojvodina's Dejan Zukic equalised nine minutes later, but Georgios Efrem scored the winner for the visitors in the 74th minute from a penalty kick awarded after a Mamadou Traore handball in the Vojvodina penalty box.

In qualifying round three, APOEL will face Georgian outfit Dila Gori.
