Air Serbia temporarily suspends scheduled flights between Belgrade, Tel Aviv
BELGRADE - Air Serbia announced it was forced to temporarily suspend scheduled flights between Belgrade and Tel Aviv from today due to the increasingly complex security situation in Israel.
In a statement, it said the next flight, scheduled for Sunday, had been cancelled as were all other flights until the end of November.
Air Serbia said it continued to monitor closely the information related to the Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport and maintained contact with all relevant departments and authorities.
The Serbian national airline said the flights would be resumed once the conditions to do so were in place and that the public would be informed of that immediately.
It also said the safety of passengers and crew members was its top priority.
