Petkovic, Lajcak discuss reached agreements, Community, de-escalation

BRUSSELS - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak in Brussels on Monday to discuss all agreements reached to date, with particular emphasis on the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities.

In a post on the social media network X, Petkovic wrote that the meeting had also addressed much-needed de-escalation.

"Our experts as a part of Belgrade's delegation participated in discussions about the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities and preparation of a draft statute of the Community of Serb Municipalities, as well as the issue of missing persons and other important topics. As always, we came to Brussels excellently prepared," Petkovic added.
