Belgrade city assembly session postponed due to lack of quorum

BELGRADE - The constitutive session of the new Belgrade city assembly was on Monday postponed until March 1 due to a lack of quorum.

This was announced by Toma Fila, the oldest assembly member, who was to chair the session.

Assembly members from the Aleksandar Vucic-led Belgrade Must Not Stop electoral list, the Socialist Party of Serbia and the We - A Voice From The People list did not turn up for the session.

Previously, assembly members from the Serbia Against Violence list and the Hope for Serbia coalition entered the meeting room, carrying banners in protest against alleged manipulations in the December 17 local elections in Belgrade.
