From words to violence

Gone are the days when the jeering of public figures found apologists who justified insults or even violence as an expression of righteous indignation. 

Those who articulate their views publicly, whether from a political platform or from the pulpit, should observe moderation. Intolerant speech can also lead to corresponding actions - such as slapping. 

No political force is justified in showing "understanding" for hooligan-style behavior.
