Djokovic loses to Tabilo in Rome Masters third round
ROME - Serbian Novak Djokovic, the world number one in men's tennis singles, lost 6-2, 6-3 to Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in the Rome Masters third round on Sunday.
World number 32 Tabilo won after 68 minutes of play.
Previously, Serbia's Hamad Medjedovic qualified for the third round following a 7-6, 7-4 win over Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina after an hour and 48 minutes of play.
He will next face Russian Daniil Medvedev.
Miomir Kecmanovic lost 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (8-6) to Brazilian Thiago Monteiro in the third round after two hours and 38 minutes of play, and Dusan Lajovic was defeated by Agentine Sebastian Baez 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (8-6) in the second round after two hours and 13 minutes of play.
The prize money at the Rome Masters is 7,877,020 euros.
