Lajovic, Kecmanovic and Medjedovic through to Rome Masters second round

ROME - Serbian tennis players Dusan Lajovic, Miomir Kecmanovic and Hamad Medjedovic are all through to the second round of the Rome Masters tournament.

In the opening round, Lajovic defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 6-3 after two hours and 31 minutes of play last night.

Lajovic will next face Argentine Sebastian Baez.

Djokovic advances to Roland Garros fourth round

PARIS - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Roland Garros fourth round after beating Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-4), 6-2) on Friday.

Djokovic, who won after three hours and 36 minutes of play, will next face the winner of the tie between Pole Hubert Hurkacz and Peruvian Juan Pablo Varillas.

Djokovic beats Fucsovics to advance to Roland Garros third round

PARIS - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Roland Garros third round after defeating Hungarian Marton Fucsovics 7-6 (7-2), 6-0, 6-3 on Wednesday evening.

He will next face Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, who beat Frenchman Luca Van Assche 6-4, 7-3, 7-6 (8-6) in the second round.

The prize money at Roland Garros is 49,600,000 euros.

Novak was free in the first round, starting participation in the Masters in Italy on Tuesday.
Djokovic had two and a half weeks of rest, since he did not play at the Masters in Madrid after the ATP category 250 tournament in Belgrade.
His opponent is the 31st tennis player in the world, Taylor Fritz, with whom he has met three times so far.
