Polls predict ND dominance in European election

If the latest opinion polls are confirmed, there will be no big surprise on the night of June 9 regarding the distribution of the 21 seats available to Greece in the European Parliament.

Ruling New Democracy would elect seven to eight MEPs, versus three to four for SYRIA and three for PASOK.

The latest poll published on Friday by Pulse for Skai TV of voting intentions shows the consolidation of ND's dominance over its rivals, but also a clear picture regarding the second and third place.

The ruling party garnered 28.5%, a slight drop from the 29% it received in the previous poll by the same company.

SYRIZA is in second place with 14.5%, up half a point from the previous poll. PASOK shows a similar increase in percentage, following in third place with 11.5%.
