Missing Dutch hiker found dead on Samos

A 74-year-old Dutch tourist who went missing while hiking on the eastern Aegean island of Samos was found dead on Saturday.

Rescuers using a drone located him in a gorge in the Limnionas area on the southwest part of the island.

He had set off for a hike on Sunday and went missing amid high temperatures.

Meanwhile, a US tourist has been missing since Tuesday while hiking on the island of Amorgos. Additionally, British television doctor Michael Mosley was found dead on the island of Symi on Sunday, several days after he was reported missing.
