Nedimovic resigns as Football Association of Serbia vice-president

BELGRADE - Branislav Nedimovic resigned as vice-president of the Football Association of Serbia (FSS) on Thursday, the Sport klub Internet portal reports.

Quoting several sources, Sport klub also said FSS Secretary General Jovan Surbatovic had also stepped down.

Serbia suffered an early EURO 2024 exit after the group stage by finishing fourth in Group C behind England, Denmark and Slovenia.

Serbia lost 1-0 to England and drew 1-1 with Slovenia and 0-0 with Denmark, winning just two points.

According to reports by Serbian media outlets, Serbia head coach Dragan Pixy Stojkovic will leave his post soon as a result.
