Moderate tremor hits off northern coast of Crete

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck off the northern coast of Crete, southern Greece on Thursday morning, without causing damages or injuries.

The Geodynamic Institute said the quake struck shortly after 9.30 a.m. local time around 53 kilometers north if Iraklio, at a depth of 14.4 kilometers.
