Amalia: 20-year-old man in hospital after being shot – He suffered a ruptured spleen

A 20-year-old man was taken to Pyrgos General Hospital early Wednesday morning after a shooting in Amalia.

According to ilialive.gr, the incident occurred at around 2 a.m. and is being investigated by the authorities.

As reported by the local media, the wound was probably caused by an air gun, while the young man was transferred by his relatives to the Amaliada hospital and due to the severity of his condition he was transferred to Pyrgos. The 20-year-old is undergoing surgery as he suffered a ruptured spleen.
