When the final whistle blew, the 20,000-strong crowd erupted into cheers as red and white streamers shot into the air from the stage. Then the rock band from Las Vegas started their song, which is one of their best-known.

England have booked their place in the Euro 2024 final and will now face Spain on Sunday.
