Djedovic Handanovic: Gov't has adopted integrated energy and climate plan

BELGRADE - Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic announced on Thursday the Serbian government had adopted an integrated energy and climate plan under which 45 pct of the country's electricity should come from renewable energy sources by 2030.

Djedovic Handanovic said the plan marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of the national energy sector, which she said should boost the security of power supplies, raise the share of clean energy sources and increase the level of environmental protection.
