Fokida: Attempted abduction of a 13-year-old by an elderly man

A shocking report was made on Tuesday by the parents of a minor child that an elderly man approached him in his car in the Fire settlement of Phokida and tried to grab him and force him inside, for what purpose unknown.

According to the testimony of the 13-year-old boy, he managed to resist with the help of his brother, also a minor, and avoided being grabbed, while the 73-year-old driver picked up speed and fled. However, following the complaint, the policemen of the Amfissa-Delphi police station began their search and spotted him driving his car in the area of Pavliani where they arrested him.

The elderly man, who comes from another village of Lamia and lives permanently in Athens, was taken to the Prosecutor’s Office of Amfissa, he was prosecuted for attempted kidnapping of a minor and, after his plea to the investigator, he was given restrictive conditions and released until the trial of the case.
